Anticode vs Leadpages: a lead capture toolkit, or a whole designed site from one sentence
Leadpages is a lead capture platform for small businesses and marketers: landing pages, pop-ups, alert bars and Stripe checkouts, with testing and heatmaps on its higher plans. Anticode builds a whole multi-page site from a description, sends every form to a sealed inbox and checks the pages before they go live. For a funnel with checkouts and pop-ups, Leadpages suits; for a business site that needs to look considered, Anticode does.
The short answer
Leadpages is the pick if you're building funnels: an opt-in page, a pop-up offering a guide, a sales page with a Stripe checkout and an order bump, and on the upper plans tests to see which version converts. Anticode is the pick if what you need is the business website itself, with Services, About, Pricing and Contact pages written and designed for you, forms that land in a sealed inbox, and a check on design and security before anyone visits.
How you get to a first page
Leadpages' product overview lists the parts: an AI engine where you describe a page and it builds one, a website builder for multi-page sites with a blog and navigation, a pop-up builder with exit-intent and timed triggers, alert bars with countdowns, Leadmeter scoring a page's conversion potential as you build, and lead enrichment. Pages can also be published from Claude or ChatGPT through its MCP connector.
Anticode's first step is a short exchange with the Architect, which asks up to three questions where the answer changes the build and then shows a plan: name, kind of site, sections, look and features. The design engine builds it in one of seven design systems with one font family and one action colour, and the design gate refuses to publish pages without alt text, a page language or visible keyboard focus.

What the plans include
As of 24 October 2026, Leadpages' pricing page lists four plans with monthly prices in dollars, without naming the currency, and says annual billing saves 20%. Pro is $29 a month for 25 pages, one custom domain and one blog. Business is $49 for 50 pages, two domains and a brand kit. Grow is $99 for unlimited pages, four domains, manual A/B testing, dynamic text replacement and lead enrichment. Optimize is $199 for six domains, Smart Traffic, heatmaps and tests with up to four variants. Every plan has SSL, removes Leadpages branding and has no traffic cap. A 7-day trial becomes the paid plan on day seven unless you cancel.
One detail on that page matters for lead capture: form submission history is kept for 30 days on Pro, and for as long as you subscribe on the other plans. On Anticode, each project sets its own retention under Keep submissions, after which submissions are deleted automatically, and the last 200 reads, exports and deletes of form data are logged. Anticode's plan amounts are on pricing.
Selling from the page
Leadpages' checkouts page describes a Stripe payment form embedded in the page, so the visitor pays without a redirect, with subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps and revenue shown per page and traffic source. It says Leadpages adds no transaction fee on top of Stripe's.
Anticode takes a simpler route. Buy and pricing buttons open a checkout link you create at Stripe Payment Links, PayPal, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Shopify or Whop, and there is one such link per account, so every buy button opens the same checkout. For several products, the link can point at a product list at your provider. The guide to adding a buy button walks through it.
Where Leadpages is the better choice
- Funnels with payment on the page. Embedded Stripe checkout, order bumps and subscriptions.
- Pop-ups and alert bars. Exit-intent, timed and scroll-triggered offers.
- Testing when you're ready. Move up to Grow or Optimize for A/B tests, Smart Traffic and heatmaps.
- A blog alongside the pages. One to five blogs depending on the plan.
Where Anticode is the better choice
- The site is written for you. A sentence becomes several designed pages, not one template to fill.
- Bookings. A built-in booking calendar that refuses double-booked slots.
- Submissions you control. Sealed at rest, retention you set, and delivery to email or connectors.
- Code you can leave with. Export a Next.js project with server routes for the forms.
Who should pick which
A coach selling a course through an opt-in, a sales page and a checkout will find Leadpages has every step. A plumber, a studio or a consultant who wants a credible site with a contact form and bookings will spend less time in Anticode. If lead capture is the main job, lead magnet pages explains what Anticode builds for it, and Leadpages alternatives lists more options.
Anticode's limits
No pop-ups, alert bars, A/B tests or heatmaps; no embedded checkout, order bumps or cart, only one payment link per account. Built-in forms on design-engine pages have fixed fields (custom forms with a site function take up to 30) and no file uploads, the CMS has no comments, RSS or scheduling, and the builder works in English. Leadpages facts above come from its own pages on 24 October 2026.
Questions people ask
Does Leadpages limit traffic?
Its pricing page says there is no traffic cap on any plan. Plans differ by pages, custom domains, blogs and testing features.
Can Anticode deliver a lead magnet after a sign-up?
Not by itself. Newsletter sign-ups can be passed to Mailchimp or Kit, and the email with the download is sent from there.
Which one is better for a small business website?
If the site needs several pages, a booking calendar and enquiries, Anticode covers that directly. If it's mostly campaign pages with checkouts, Leadpages does more.
