Terms of service
Last updated
These terms are an agreement between you and Anticode for the use of anticode.dev, the builder, published sites and the API (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
Your account
You need to be at least 16 to use Anticode. Keep your sign-in details safe: you’re responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account.
What you make
You own what you put into Anticode and the sites you build with it. You give us permission to store, process and serve that content so the service works: for example, to host your published sites and to send your requests to the model that writes your copy. Copy written by the model is yours to use; check it before you publish, because it can be wrong.
What isn’t allowed
- Phishing, impersonation, fraud, malware, or pages that collect passwords or payment details under false pretences.
- Anything illegal, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Spam, or using forms on published sites to collect data you have no right to.
- Trying to break, overload or get around the security of the service, or to use other people’s accounts.
Every published page is checked automatically, and we may take down a site or close an account that breaks these rules, with notice where we can give it.
Payments
Anticode Pro is a monthly subscription billed in advance by Stripe, after a free trial for accounts that haven’t subscribed before; cancelling during the trial means you’re never charged. Prices are on the pricing page; if we change the price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal. You can cancel any time and keep Pro until the end of the paid month. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
The service
We work to keep Anticode running and your data safe, and we publish live health checks on the status page. The service is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Usage limits apply as described on the pricing page.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Anticode isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard; that removes your projects and takes your published sites offline. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update this page and the date above, and tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
