A car detailing website that prices by car size and books the bay
Detailing customers compare packages, check the price for their size of car and then want a slot, either at your unit or on their driveway. A car detailing website should put a clear package table first and a booking one tap later. Anticode's per-slot booking calendar fits this trade well, as long as you plan the services around its fixed fields.
Package table first
Detailing is confusing from the outside. One firm's "valet" is another's "mini detail", and a customer can't tell whether a machine polish is included. Name your packages by what happens to the car and lay them against car size, because a hatchback and a seven-seat SUV take very different amounts of time and product.
| Package | What's done | Priced by |
|---|---|---|
| Maintenance wash | Safe two-bucket or snow-foam wash, wheels, glass, quick interior vacuum | Small, medium, large or van |
| Interior detail | Deep vacuum, upholstery and carpet extraction, plastics, odour treatment | Size and condition |
| Enhancement detail | Decontamination, single-stage machine polish, sealant | Size and paint condition |
| Paint correction | Multi-stage correction to remove swirls and light scratches | Quoted after inspection |
| Ceramic coating | Correction plus a coating with its stated durability and aftercare | Quoted after inspection |
Give a starting price per size for the first three packages and say what pushes it up: pet hair, sand, heavy staining, very neglected paint. Correction and coatings vary too much to price online, so they belong in an enquiry, not a fixed slot.
Turning packages into bookable slots
Anticode's booking calendar takes a service, a day and a time, then the customer's name, phone and email. Each slot goes to one booking, so two customers can't land on the same morning. Make each package and size pairing its own service ("Interior detail, large") so the booking alone tells you what the job involves. The calendar offers set times rather than job lengths you choose, so if a big job fills a whole day, say so on the page and phone anyone whose booking overlaps it. If you run two bays, a service per bay keeps them separate.
Two things the calendar won't do. It can't take a deposit, so if no-shows hurt, send a payment link from Stripe Payment Links or PayPal after the booking and state your policy clearly. And there are no recurring bookings, so fortnightly maintenance customers rebook each time or you arrange it with them directly.
Mobile detailing: area, water and power
For a mobile valeting website the service area is the first thing to settle. List the towns or postcode districts you cover, any travel charge beyond them, and the minimum booking for a long drive. Say whether you carry your own water and power or need a tap and a socket, whether you can work on a street or only on a driveway, and what happens when it rains.
The booking form doesn't ask for an address, because its fields are fixed. Collect the address and parking details when you phone to confirm the booking. If the area check really matters, take mobile jobs through a custom request form instead (address, postcode, car, package, preferred days) and confirm the slot yourself. Its site function runs when the form is sent, and the thank-you page shows its message, such as when you'll be in touch.
Before and after, done honestly
The gallery sells detailing more than any paragraph. Shoot before and after from the same angle, under the same light, and include the close-ups that matter: swirl marks under a torch, a stained seat, brake dust on a wheel. Keep each job as an entry in a jobs CMS collection with the car, the package and a sentence on what was done, so the work page grows as you do. Avoid heavy filters and stock photos of supercars; customers with a family estate want to see a family estate.
Coating and correction enquiries
High-value work deserves a proper brief. A custom form can ask for make, model, year, colour, how the car is kept (garaged or on the street), how it's washed now, and the result they want. Send these to a Slack channel or into HubSpot through a connector so a coating lead isn't left sitting in an inbox. Customers can't attach photos to the form, so ask for a few by email before the inspection.
Be careful with durability claims. If a coating product is sold as lasting a certain number of years, say it's the manufacturer's stated figure and what aftercare it depends on.

Questions people ask
Can customers book a detail online?
Yes. Each package and car size can be its own service on the booking calendar, with one booking per slot up to 120 days ahead.
Can I take a deposit when someone books?
Not inside the booking. Send a payment link from your own provider after the booking and explain your cancellation policy on the site.
How do I collect the address for a mobile valet?
The booking form's fields are fixed, so collect it when you phone to confirm, or take mobile jobs through a custom request form and confirm the slot yourself.
