Build a preview with no account, and sign in only when it's worth it
You can open Anticode's builder and make a real page without an account. Describe a site, pick the kind, a design direction and the must-haves, and the design engine lays out a preview in your browser, with the design and security checks run on it. An account adds what needs a server: builds written by the model, saving to your account, version history and publishing.
Why it starts without a form
Most builders ask for an email before you've seen a single page, which means you're judging the product by its sign-up screen. Anticode's design engine runs entirely in the browser, so there's nothing to protect behind a login for a first look. You can see whether the result looks designed or generated before deciding whether it's worth an account. That's the point of an AI website builder without sign up: the evidence comes first.
What you can do signed out
- Build a page from a sentence: a landing page, online store, booking site, dashboard or portfolio, in any of the seven design systems.
- Add must-haves such as a booking calendar, contact form, pricing, reviews or FAQ, and separate pages like About and Contact.
- See the checks. The Report tab shows Sentinel's security checks and the Critic's design checks on your preview, just as for a signed-in build.
- Change it with the quick changes: switch direction, dark or light theme, action colour, a bolder or calmer headline, adding or removing sections and pages, and renaming.
- Edit by hand with the visual editor: retype text, move sections, adjust layout.
All of it happens in your browser tab. The builder keeps your projects in this browser's storage while you're signed out, so you can come back to them on the same device.
What an account adds
| Without an account | With an account | |
|---|---|---|
| Design-engine preview builds | Yes, in your browser | Yes |
| Copy written by the model for your business | No; the engine writes sample copy for the subject | Yes |
| Apps, games and tools written by the model | No | Yes, with a confirmed email |
| Talking the build through with the Architect | No | Yes |
| Changes in your own words | No; quick changes only | Yes |
| Projects saved | In this browser only | On your account, on every device |
| Version history | No | Yes |
| Publishing, forms that reach you, custom domains | No | Yes (custom domains on paid plans) |
Model-written work needs an account because it costs real money to run and has to be measured against an allowance, and publishing needs one because a public page needs an owner who has confirmed their email. Accounts can be made with email and password, a magic link, GitHub or Google. See pricing for what each plan includes.
Signing in keeps what you made
When you sign in, the projects you built in this browser move into your account, and from then on your account's copy is the one that counts. Press Publish while signed out and you're taken to sign in, then brought back to the builder. If you ask for something that needs the model, such as a game or a calculator, the Architect says so and picks up where you left off once you've signed in.
Limits of the signed-out preview
- Sample copy. Preview builds use the engine's own wording for your kind of business. Replace it with your real facts, or sign in for copy written from your request.
- One browser. Signed-out projects live in this browser's storage. A private window, cleared site data or another device won't have them.
- Nothing goes live. A preview has no public address and its forms don't send anything until it's published from an account.
To see what a full build involves, step by step, read how Anticode works, or try the Architect's planning conversation once you're signed in.
Questions people ask
Is the preview really free?
Yes. Design-engine preview builds run in your browser and don't use any model, so there's nothing to charge for.
Do I lose my work when I sign up?
No. Projects made in this browser move into your account when you sign in.
Why can't I build a game without an account?
Games, tools and other apps are written by the model, which costs money to run and is measured against an account's allowance.
Can I publish a preview?
Publishing needs an account with a confirmed email. Pressing Publish while signed out takes you to sign in and brings you back.
