The template gallery: twelve sites and apps the model wrote

Anticode's gallery holds twelve sites and apps that its model designed and wrote, each from a brief and each in a deliberately different style, from a retro CRT studio site to a Swiss-grid architecture portfolio and a synthwave arcade game. Using one copies it into your own project with no model call and nothing taken off your limits. From there you change it in your own words.

Why these templates look so different from each other

Most collections of AI website templates are one layout in twelve colours. These were made the other way round: twelve briefs for twelve very different businesses and products, each written by the model as a complete program and polished by the Critic, so the gallery doubles as a demonstration of range. They are worth opening even if you never use one, to see what a specific brief produces compared with "a modern website for my business".

What happens when you use one

  1. Pick a template from the gallery in the dashboard. You need to be signed in, because the copy is saved to your account.
  2. Anticode copies the template's code into your project as an app build of your own. No model runs, so it's instant and doesn't count against your daily or weekly allowance.
  3. It opens in the builder like any app you'd built yourself, with its own preview, Code tab and checks.
  4. Ask for changes in a sentence: "make this a bakery called Crumb & Co, with our real opening hours and three loaves". Those changes are model edits and are measured against your allowance like any other.

Templates are apps, with an app's rules

Every template is a model-written app: one HTML document with its own styles and code. That's what lets a template include a 3D computer, a playable game or a scent finder, but it also means it runs in Anticode's app sandbox. Nothing in it can reach the network. The Fernwood cart, the Tallyhaus figures, the conference tickets and the arcade's high-score table all work inside the visitor's browser only. Fernwood's cart takes no real payment, and data like Tallyhaus's balances is sample data. Contact and booking forms in an app, by contrast, do reach you through Anticode's form pipeline.

Replace every fact

The businesses in the gallery are invented. Their names, addresses, prices, opening hours and event dates exist only to make the template feel alive, and they become your responsibility the moment you publish. Before you put a template live, ask for each fact to be replaced with yours, or edit it yourself, and read the result once more with fresh eyes. If you'd rather start from your own facts, describe the site from scratch and the Architect will ask what it needs to know; the guide on templates versus AI-generated sites compares the two starts.

Limits

  • Not editable in the visual editor. Templates are apps, so you change them by asking in words rather than by clicking text on the page.
  • No real shop, accounts or live data. Those need a server; the Next.js export is the route if you outgrow the sandbox.
  • A fixed set. There are twelve, and the gallery isn't a marketplace you can add to.

Questions people ask

Does using a template cost anything?

Copying a template into your project uses no model call and nothing off your limits. Changes you ask for afterwards are measured like any other model change; see pricing for the plans.

Can I publish a template unchanged?

It would pass the same publish checks as any app, but the business details are fictional, so replace them before anyone sees it.

Will the arcade game keep high scores?

Scores are saved in each visitor's own browser. There's no shared leaderboard, because apps have no network access.

Can I export a template as code?

Yes. Once it's in your project it's an app build like any other, so it can be exported as a Next.js project.
