Anticode vs Relume: sitemaps and wireframes for designers, or a finished, checked site

Relume turns a brief into a sitemap, wireframes and a style guide, assembled from a library of human-designed components, and you can export the result to Figma, Webflow or React or publish it on Relume's own hosting. Anticode goes from a sentence to a finished, checked site that it hosts. If you're a designer handing work to Figma or Webflow, Relume fits that process; if you want the site itself, Anticode is shorter.

The short answer

Choose Relume if you plan sites for clients, want a sitemap and wireframes to agree before design starts, and finish the work in Figma, Webflow or a React codebase. Choose Anticode if you don't need the planning artefacts as separate deliverables and would rather describe the business, review a built site and publish it once it passes the checks.

How each one works

Relume's home page says you drop in an old website, a document or a few notes, and it generates a brief, a sitemap, wireframes and a style guide, then assembles pages from its component library for you to review, edit and publish. It describes itself as made for marketing websites. The style guide builder generates colour palettes and typeface pairings and exports them to Figma and Webflow.

Anticode compresses those stages into a conversation. The Architect asks up to three questions that would change the build and shows a short plan: name, kind of site, sections, look and features. Agree it and the design engine builds the pages, the Designer holds them to one of seven design systems, and the Critic runs nineteen design checks. There's no separate wireframe step: you react to the real page and change it in place or in words.

Export and hosting

Relume's pricing page splits its offer in two. Export plans send a project to Figma, Webflow or React, with far more Webflow and React components on the paid tiers than on the free one. Publishing keeps it on Relume: free hosting on a relume.live subdomain with 1,500 monthly page views, or paid Launch hosting on your own domain, with Relume handling the SSL certificate.

Anticode hosts what it builds at <name>.anticode.dev, or on your own domain on paid plans with the certificate issued automatically. If you'd rather host it yourself, export the project as one HTML file, or as a Next.js App Router project with TypeScript and Postgres through Prisma, and push it to GitHub. There's no export to Figma or Webflow.

How you pay

As of 24 October 2026, Relume's pricing page shows dollar prices without naming the currency. Building is free to start, with Pro from $14 a month for more AI usage and premium models. Launch hosting on a custom domain is from $12 per project a month. Export plans are listed separately: Starter from $18 a month, Pro from $40 a month and Team from $36 a month with a minimum of three users.

Anticode has one plan structure for building and hosting: a daily and a weekly allowance measured by what each build actually cost, a quote before each build, and failed builds not charged. Custom domains and badge removal come with paid plans. See pricing.

Where Relume is the better choice

  • Planning before design. A sitemap and wireframes to agree with a client before anyone touches visuals.
  • Your work ends in Figma or Webflow. Relume exports there; Anticode doesn't.
  • A React codebase. Export to React components for a developer to build on.
  • Freedom beyond seven systems. A large component library and a generated style guide, rather than a fixed set of design systems.

Where Anticode is the better choice

  • You want the live site, not the plan. One conversation, then a built site to react to.
  • Checks before publishing. Alt text, keyboard focus, reduced motion and a page language are required, and twelve security checks run on the HTML that ships.
  • Working forms and bookings. Contact, booking and newsletter forms are saved, sealed at rest and can go to Slack, Sheets or a CRM.
  • Client sign-off on the real thing. A review link with comments tied to a section, no account needed.

Who should pick which

A web designer who sells discovery, wireframes and a Webflow build as separate stages will get more from Relume. A small business, or a freelancer who wants to hand over a finished site quickly, should try Anticode, where the plan, the build and the checks happen in one place. The website brief guide helps whichever you pick.

Anticode's limits

No Figma or Webflow export or import, no free-form canvas, no sitemap or wireframe deliverables, no shopping cart, and a builder in English only. Payment buttons point at a link from Stripe, PayPal, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Shopify or Whop. Relume details are from its own pages, checked on 24 October 2026; let us know through the contact page if they change.

Questions people ask

Does Relume host websites now?

Yes. Its pricing page lists free hosting on a relume.live subdomain and paid Launch hosting on a custom domain.

Can Anticode export to Figma or Webflow?

No. It exports one HTML file or a Next.js project, and can push the Next.js project to GitHub.

Can I use Relume's wireframes as an Anticode brief?

Yes, as text. Describe the sitemap and sections in your request, or paste a link that the Architect reads once and summarises into the brief.
