Zoho Sites alternatives for a site that looks less like a template
Zoho Sites is the website piece of the Zoho suite, with responsive templates, forms and lead syncing to your CRM. For a business already inside Zoho, that connection is the reason to use it. People look for Zoho Sites alternatives when they want a site that feels designed for them rather than chosen from a gallery, or when a plan's page limits start to pinch.
What Zoho Sites' plans allow
Zoho's Sites home page describes AI-generated layouts, custom forms, direct lead syncing to your CRM and native integrations across its ecosystem. The templates page offers a gallery of responsive templates as the starting point.
The pricing page, checked on 24 October 2026, sets limits by plan. We couldn't read the plan prices from it: the amounts load by currency (USD, EUR, GBP and others) and the page says yearly billing saves up to 50%. The limits themselves are clear:
| Plan | Pages | Forms | Submissions a month | Collections |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | 1 | 1 | 50 | None |
| Basic | 5 | 2 | 500 | None |
| Plus | 25 | 10 | 1,500 | 2 |
| Advanced | 100 | 50 | 10,000 | 2, plus a portal |
The same page says that if a site exceeds its monthly bandwidth for two consecutive months, the website will be suspended, with notices as you approach the limit. Add-ons extend pages, collections, users and bandwidth. None of this is unusual, but it's worth reading before you assume a plan covers a growing site.
Before you leave Zoho Sites
- List the integrations. Note which forms sync to Zoho CRM or other Zoho apps. Each one is a link you'll have to rebuild, or a reason to stay.
- Copy page content. Save the text and images from every page and any collection items.
- Record the URLs and redirects. Keep a list of page addresses and any 301 redirects you set. Anticode has no per-site redirect manager, so those redirects can't be recreated there.
- Check portal members. If you use a members' portal on Advanced, decide where those people go, since not every builder has logins.
- Note domain settings. Record your DNS records before pointing the domain elsewhere.
Four options to compare
| Option | Suits | From its own pages |
|---|---|---|
| Squarespace | Template-based sites with a built-in store | Its pricing page lists Basic at $25 a month, or $19 on the annual toggle |
| Framer | A custom-designed site, built on a canvas | Its pricing page lists Basic at $10 a month with 30 pages |
| Webflow | Full design control with a CMS | Its pricing page lists Basic at $15 a month billed yearly with 300 static pages, in USD per site |
| Anticode | A designed small-business site from a description | No Zoho connector; English only |
Squarespace starts from templates too, so it's a change of look more than of approach. Framer and Webflow give you a blank canvas and expect you to design.
Where Anticode fits
Anticode doesn't start from a template gallery. You describe the business, the Architect asks up to three questions and shows a plan, and the build follows one of seven design systems, such as Editorial, Swiss, Organic or Brutalist, with a single font family and action colour. Before you see the result, the Critic runs nineteen design checks, and a design gate blocks publishing pages with tells such as a purple-blue gradient or stock phrases.
Sites can run to several pages, from Services and About to Pricing, FAQ and Contact. Forms save entries and can email you, and form connectors send them to HubSpot, Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, Slack or any webhook. A team page, case studies or a product list can sit in CMS collections with their own pages. For guidance on the structure, see planning a website.
What Anticode doesn't offer a Zoho user
- No Zoho integration. There's no Zoho CRM connector; leads go by email, the listed connectors, or a webhook to an endpoint you run.
- No portal or logins. Visitors can't sign in to a published site.
- No embeds. Zoho forms, chat widgets, maps and videos can't be embedded on published pages.
- No store engine. Selling is through one payment link per account, with no cart.
- Fixed bookings. The booking calendar has six set times a day.
- English only. No multilingual sites or builder in other languages.
When to stay on Zoho Sites
If your business runs on Zoho, with leads in Zoho CRM, campaigns in Zoho's tools and staff who already know the suite, the website being one more piece of it is worth a great deal. Moving breaks the lead syncing you'd then have to rebuild. Stay, and if the look is the problem, try a different template or hire a designer for the one you have. Move when the site itself has a different job from the rest of the stack: a launch page for a new product, a portfolio, or a brand site where how it looks matters more than where the leads land. Those can sit on another tool while the main Zoho site carries on.
