Readdy alternatives for builders who want the cost up front and checks before publishing
Readdy builds a site from a description, a reference URL, a screenshot or a Figma frame, and charges credits for its generations. People look at Readdy alternatives when they'd rather know what a build costs before it runs and have the result checked before it goes live. If starting from a picture of a site you like is how you work, Readdy is built for that.
What Readdy offers, and how it charges
Readdy's homepage describes itself as more than an AI website builder. You can start from a plain description, paste a URL so it learns the structure, upload a screenshot, branding mock or Figma frame, or pick from more than 500 templates. It handles hosting, SSL and domains, stores form submissions in a Supabase database through its built-in backend, and says site code can be exported and managed yourself.
Generations are paid in credits. As of 24 October 2026, the pricing page shows, on its one-year tab, Free at $0 with 250 credits a month, Starter at $15 a month with 30,000 credits and one site, Pro at $24 a month with 72,000 credits and two sites, and Agency at $72 a month. The prices are struck through from $25, $40 and $120, the currency isn't named, and annual plans receive the year's credits up front. Export code and one free custom domain start on Starter.
The same page describes Credit Care: if a generation isn't what you wanted, you can discard it, restore the previous version and get the credits back. That protects you after a bad result. The page we read doesn't describe an estimate of a generation's cost before it runs; if that matters to you, ask Readdy how to see it.
Before you move
- Export the code on a plan that includes it (Starter and above). Even if you rebuild elsewhere, it's a complete record of the pages.
- Export your leads. Submissions are stored in Supabase through Readdy's backend; download them and note any outreach or AI receptionist settings that use them.
- Keep your references: the URLs, screenshots and Figma frames you started from. They make a good brief for the next tool.
- Note the domain setup. If you used the free custom domain, check where it's registered and how to point or transfer it.
- Time it with your billing. Annual credits are paid up front, so plan the move near the end of a term.
Four options to compare
| Option | Suits | From its own pages |
|---|---|---|
| Rocket | Rebuilding an existing site from its URL with a new look | Its redesign guide rebuilds a pasted URL with a new look; Pro is a $25 monthly platform fee with 100 credits |
| Framer | Designers who'd rather lay the page out themselves than prompt it | Its pricing page lists Basic at $10 a month for 30 pages; currency not named |
| Lovable | Building by chat, with a daily credit grant on top of plan credits | Its pricing page says plan credits expire two months after issue and daily grants don't roll over |
| Anticode | A site planned and quoted before it's built, and checked before it's published | Not a screenshot-to-site tool; English only |
Where Anticode fits
Anticode is built around knowing first. The Architect talks the request through, asks up to three questions where the answer changes the build, and shows a short plan with the sections, look and features. Before each build the builder shows a quote, and every build ends with a receipt showing the model, tokens, cost and share of your limits. Only successful builds count: refused or failed builds are marked Not charged. Usage is a daily and a weekly allowance rather than a credit balance, and credit packs, if you buy them, never expire.
Then it checks. The Critic runs nineteen design checks, a design gate blocks publishing pages that miss basics such as alt text, a phone viewport or visible focus, and Sentinel runs twelve security checks on the exact HTML that ships. A link you include in your request is read once and summarised into the brief, so a site you admire can inform the plan, though Anticode won't copy it. See build quotes, the security checks and pricing.
Where Readdy does more
- Visual starting points. Anticode doesn't turn a screenshot or Figma frame into a matching layout, and it has no Figma import.
- No cart. Buy buttons open one payment link per account, from Stripe Payment Links, PayPal, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Shopify or Whop.
- English only. The builder and its pages are in English; no multilingual sites.
- Fixed booking times. Six set times on the coming days, Mondays skipped, with no deposits or calendar sync.
- No video, embeds or custom scripts on design-engine pages. Readdy offers custom code blocks and scripts; Anticode's published pages run none.
- No outreach or receptionist tools. Readdy lists outreach campaigns and an AI receptionist on its plans; Anticode sends form submissions to email or connectors instead.
When Readdy is the right tool
If your natural brief is a screenshot of a site you love or a frame from your designer, Readdy stays a good choice: that's a starting point it was designed around, and Credit Care softens the cost of a miss. Agencies may also want the white-label and client management features on its higher plans. Export your code from time to time, and move only if the way it charges no longer fits how you build.
Questions people ask
Can I export code from Readdy?
Yes, from the Starter plan up, according to its pricing page. The free plan doesn't list code export.
What is Readdy's Credit Care?
Its pricing page says you can discard a generation you're unhappy with, restore the previous version and have those credits refunded.
Which readdy alternatives can start from a URL?
Rocket's redesign command rebuilds a pasted URL. Anticode reads a link once and summarises it into the brief, without copying the site.
How does Anticode charge for a build?
It shows a quote before each build and a receipt after. Only successful builds count against your daily and weekly allowance; see /pricing for plans.
