10Web alternatives: AI-built sites with or without WordPress behind them

Every 10Web site runs on WordPress. That's the point of it if you want plugins and a CMS you can take to any host. If you only wanted an AI-built site and didn't plan to look after WordPress, there are 10Web alternatives that build a site with no CMS to update, and one sensible path is simply moving the same WordPress site to another host.

What 10Web sells

10Web's AI website builder page describes starting from a prompt, a link or a file; the builder plans the site, builds the pages and publishes them with hosting and SSL included. While it works, the screen reads "Installing WordPress backend", and the page lists a WordPress backend among the essentials. Paste a link to an existing site and it says it keeps your pages, text, images and URLs, redirecting old addresses.

The platform pricing page, as of 24 October 2026, prices by number of sites, with the currency shown only as a dollar sign. Every plan includes the full WordPress CMS and 10Web hosting. The monthly figures below are the annual-billing rates the page shows; it says annual billing is half the regular price.

10Web AI plans on annual billing, as of 24 October 2026
PlanPriceSitesMonthly visitorsAI credits
AI Starter$10 a month (12 months for $120)110K100 a month
AI Premium$15 a month (12 months for $180)220K200 a month
AI Ultimate$22.5 a month (12 months for $270)450K300 a month

Two things on that page lead people to compare 10Web alternatives. Each plan has a monthly visitor allowance, and every site is a WordPress install, with the themes, plugins and updates that come with one. If that's what you wanted, it's a good arrangement. If you didn't, it's more system than the site needs.

Download a backup before you decide

Because 10Web sites are WordPress, you can take the whole site with you. 10Web's help article on its backup service says backups are incremental, kept for 30 days and listed under Backups in each site's dashboard, where you can create a manual backup and download any of them; a download link is sent to your email and also appears in the dashboard.

  1. Create a manual backup and download it, even if you plan to rebuild rather than move.
  2. Export your posts and pages from WordPress itself, so the content is readable without a database.
  3. List active plugins and what each does: forms, SEO, caching, shop. Each is a feature you'll need to replace or drop.
  4. Note your DNS records and where the domain is registered before repointing anything.

Where Anticode fits

Anticode suits the owner who wants an AI-built site and nothing to patch. You describe the business, the Architect asks up to three questions and shows a plan, and the site is built as plain HTML and CSS. Pages from the design engine contain no scripts at all, and Sentinel's twelve security checks run on the exact HTML that ships; at publish the server re-runs the checks that matter once a page is public, so a failing page can't go live. There are no plugins because there's nothing to plug into.

The jobs plugins usually do are covered differently. Contact, booking and newsletter forms save submissions and can email you, and form connectors send them on to Slack, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Mailchimp and others. Each site gets its own sitemap, robots.txt and llms.txt, and the last ten published versions are backed up. If you're rebuilding from scratch, building a website with AI step by step walks through the brief.

What you give up

  • No WordPress and no plugins. Anticode can't import a WordPress site or run plugins, themes or PHP.
  • No shop engine. No cart, inventory, shipping or tax; buy buttons point to a payment link from Stripe, PayPal, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Shopify or Whop.
  • No redesign from a URL. Unlike 10Web's link-based rebuild, you describe the site and add your own text and photos.
  • No visitor accounts. Published sites can't have member logins; real accounts exist only in the Next.js export you host yourself.
  • No embeds. Pages link to videos, maps and booking widgets rather than embedding them.

When 10Web is the right call

If you rely on WordPress plugins, want a CMS that any developer recognises, or run several client sites and value the agency tiers, 10Web gives you an AI start on a platform you can leave with a standard backup. That portability is a real advantage. Compare the two in more detail on Anticode vs 10Web.

Questions people ask

Does 10Web use WordPress?

Yes. Its pricing page lists the full WordPress CMS on every plan, and its builder page shows a WordPress backend being installed.

How do I download my 10Web site?

Open the site's Backups page in the 10Web dashboard and download a backup. 10Web emails the link and shows it in the dashboard when it's ready.

Are there 10web alternatives with no CMS to maintain?

Hosted builders such as Squarespace and Framer handle updates for you. Anticode publishes static pages with no scripts, so there's no CMS software to update.

Can Anticode rebuild my site from its URL?

No. Links in your request are read once and summarised into the brief, but the site is built from your description, not copied.
